I guess I was expecting a lot and expectations weren't met. Went there for restaurant week. Although I paid lower than usual, I think quality should not be compromised.
The appetizers were good, the salad tho didn't look appetizing and the dressing was concentrated at the bottom of the plate. I loved the cheese and pizza.
For my entree I got the burger, it was good, although I felt that it was cooked more than what I ordered which was medium. But what was a turn off was the fries that was served almost cold, they served the thin, fast food fries which could also be a point of improvement.
A New York staple. It’s solid for clients or friends. The cocktails are classic but killer, and the food never disappoints. Sometimes it’s nice to get food and drink that isn’t overly eclectic or fancy, but is just of superb quality. In this respect, MK always delivers.
This place may been trendy and a good dining destination when it first appeared on the NYC dining scene (I used to celebrities coming and going here), but after returning for the first time in years, it seems to have become a tourist trap. The food is not terrible, but overpriced for how I rate it.
In the Big Apple for work on a Sunday night! At least they treated to a nice evening meal. The Mercer Kitchen was a great pic. Good drinks, and great food.
What I liked the most here was the fish. I had a steamed fish entree that was excellent. Fresh and healthy and tasted incredible. Don’t miss having something sweet after the meal. It’s worth it. Reservations are helpful for dinner time in mid or late week.
