The cleanest and best Malaysian restaurant in the 5 boros! If you want something that is not on the menu just ask they ill make it for you! I had to stop going because they have stairs and since an accident 2 years ago I cant use stairs but we still get take out when we can!
Most of the other Malaysian restaurants and I have been to them all i n NYC and NJ and upstate as well are either dirty or very stylish but fake just Chinese saying they are Malaysian.
This is authentic Malaysian. However for those who think it is . a badge of honor to eat super spicy food it is not super spicy because they are near Columbia U and cook to match those tastes. But if you want it cooked spicy or not just ask!

This is an out of the way little place around the corner from Broadway, just a few steps from the 103rd St. 1 station. It is, however, well worth the trip. The space is small but warm and cozy. They also have a thriving take-out business going, which I've taken advantage of. The food is delicious, reasonably priced, promptly prepared and the staff have been friendly. Two of my favourites are the Tom Yum soup and Co Co shrimp.

I have taken to calling in my order as I leave the office, hopping on the subway and the order's ready by the time I arrive. Tip: grab a bottle from Grape Collective across the street on Broadway to pair with your dinner!

I like Malaysian food. This place does it very well. Delicious and simple in a fuss free, cozy and intimate environment. The food is very well priced and the place is licensed for Beer and Wine also at very good prices. I'd say happy hour prices at all times :). I particularly like the Kari Sampur with it's wonderful mix of vegetables but have enjoyed many of their menu choices. Sea food seemed excellent. Service could be better. Twice, I've been refused a better table in an empty restaurant because I was alone.

I have been meaning to try this small neighborhood restaurant for years. I went alone one evening. I was promptly seated at a table for two right next to the Walter Station. There was only one othe party in the restaurant, but I accepted the table. There were no condiments on the table and I wasn't offered any. Nor was I given Chopsticks, my utensil of choice.
The redeeming factor was the food. It was served promptly, arrived hot and it was delicious. It was much to large a portion for me, and taking it home was no problem.
    The prices were very reasonable
I would go back again for lunch if alone.
