Koronet Pizza

Pretty good pizza, the slices are huge. And considering the average coat of pizza in most places in Manhattan you're actually getting a pretty good bang for your buck.

In a fancy-schmancy neighborhood catering to the young and well-to-do (aka the Columbia crowd), Koronet is a vestige of the old Upper Upper West Side. It has been here for at least 30 years, probably more. Unpretentious. Lots of variety. Giant slices that fill you up for hours (if you can even finish them). Nothing healthy about the place. Highly recommended.

I hadn't gone in awhile, but it looks like there is new ownership and they have remodeled the place. Thankfully though, they have maintained the original "huge" slices that we crave for! Plus, nice option that they have expanded their menu to include more things other that pizza slices.

Giant slices, but you're paying for it. Still, decent quality pizza. Grab a pie with a couple of friends and enjoy it in the Columbia quads.

Amazing jumbo slices, good selection and located near a few other great restaurants if people in your party don't want pizza. I would say that the only thing was that the jumbo pizza lacked in sauce and quality. Great place.
