The Sinaloan style pulled pork, chilorio, is absolutely amazing... flavorful yet not overly spicy. Heat can be achieved by adding their orange hot sauce, which they call chile del arbol. Aesthetically, this place is nothing special, but the food here is the true rock star. Also worth noting is the service is fantastic.
Really good. Cant recommend it enough.
Upstate Manhattan isn't really known for true Mexican food. So go to Marble Hill and check out this Northern Mexican place. Not fancy, small but with space for a counter, a table and a TV tuned to Telemundo. Extensive menu. Friendly service. Down the street from the Metro North Marble Hill stop. I had three different tacos, my wife had two and chicken soup. Food is made to order and delicious. Mexican sodas are available. For 5 tacos, soup and a soda, the bill was $25. Certainly worth it. My wife said her "sopa de pollo" was homemade. Too bad they'd run out of tamales, we were told they sold quickly in the morning (tried the chicken móle on another visit: great). We've been back. I believe they deliver. We took ours home. (If you like spicy salsas, ask for the red, and then be prepared to add some more heat.)
What's not to love? Tacos made to order right in front of you, super-friendly staff, and delicious fresh food. Recommended!
Delicious food and good service... I recommend it ..
