    Opai Thai is my favorite restaurant in UWS, located at Amsterdam Av. Lunch special costs 9 dolars, apetizer and main course included. It is a comfortable place, delicious thai food. Close to the 96st st station, 1, 2 and 3 trains. No outside seats. Gender neutral restrooms.

    We went here for lunch. They have really excellent versions of standard American Thai dishes at extremely affordable prices. The service was excellent and they were very accommodating of our toddler.

    Conveniently located Thai joint in a spot with a good collection of interesting eating places bunched together over 2 or 3 blocks on Amsterdam Ave. Good food, good drinks and good service at regular prices. This is one of the few Thai places that uses Green peppercorns (or knows about them), which is a good sign of Thai food authenticity :-).
