I have been in restaurant biz myself and I can say that Galata was one of the best Turkish restaurants in the East Coast. Our waitress was very nice, food was great and proportions were good. Will come back again.

Ordered delivery through Yelp: mixed grill entree, hummus, small sparkling water. The food arrived on time. They included generous portions of bread. The mixed grill came with three sauces that I can't quite name, but I'd describe them as plain yogurt, a garlicky yogurt (tzatziki?), and a minty salsa. The dishes were all great. The $3.50 small sparkling water turned out to be a can of Canada Dry, which is the only thing I can fault them for. For $3.50, I'd expect San Pellegrino.
