If you want real Japanese service and food, this is a really good and surprisingly affordable restaurant and an institution in the Village. I order one of the deluxe combination meals and everything was good. Appetizers were top notch as well as the wait staff.

My daughter and I were starving after a long day of sight seeing. We did a google search that led us to this restaurant after noting it had high reviews. We waited until 5 pm when it opened (on a cold rainy night), popped in and had the most fabulous meal! Delicious all around, friendly servers, warm atmosphere. And least expensive meal our entire time in NYC! Stop in, you will be glad you did!

Fresh sushi like no where else. The place is small and deliver authentic, basic layout and dining rituals. There meeting has a lot to offer though most people still to order one of these pre-designed combination plates. The combination is generous and less expensive than anywhere else if this quality. Staff are kind. We were there on a Friday at 9 pm and had to wait for about an hour in line to get in. Pay attention to the payment restrictions as they are or it the ordinary.

Been a customer since 2013! Best affordable sushi place ever. Fresh and good portion fish! Can be pricey but this is literally my go to sushi spot!! But sometimes they substitute the fish without telling you, I just wish they would let me know ahead of time.
