The place is small the lines along but it's worth your time
The most amazing fried fish and shrimp in all of Harlem! Hands down! The only problem is that although they only have a very limited menu the wait is ALWAYS extensive and there isnt much space to wait inside so often there are large crowds waiting outside. I will say, it is definitely worth the wait...especially for the shrimp!
My absolute favorite seafood place to grab and go. I've been going for years and don't intend on stopping. I love the new setup. Makes it a lot easier to go visit on a really cold day.
I know, it's literally a hole in the wall, but simultaneously the finest fish fry in Harlem. Look for the perennial line out the door, choose your pleasure from the clearly posted menus just inside, (note the wit and humor of the 'hours of operation' sign), tip the wonderful young people who take your order, thank the chef who's been there forever and enjoy the golden brown, perfectly seasoned crispy fried fish. Better still, once you add your sauces and they wrap your meal in butcher paper, enjoy this wonderful food in the shade of Jackie Robinson Park just across the street. Truly, do this.
