With such great reviews, I guess I had high expectations but coffee was mediocre. I ordered a mocha but there was no mocha flavor in it and tasted like light coffee with an aftertaste rather than espresso. Pretty disappointed. Won't be coming back.
Great coffee, good spot to read, wonderful to people watch in the summer, owners are wonderful, cash only. New York could use more places like this
Found this jewel while walking around town. Small yet elegant and cozy. Maybe more selection for breakfast could make it a top notch, but still I was happy with my it.
Locals love this cozy spot, so international travelers will be happy they read this review. The glorious smell of fresh burlap sacks of coffee beans from around the world and the aroma of the daily brews meet you as soon as you open the door. The owner is always there and her wonderful smile and artwork welcomes the weary traveler. If you love to enjoy coffee in a warm atmosphere, this place is worth a trip out of your way, but there is not enough room here to open up a laptop computer; if you want to do that or have a business meeting, go to Starbucks.
I always go for regular. The coffee is unlike any other coffee I have had anywhere. Just love the rich and deep taste. Wherever they get the beans from, its the best!
