Haute BBQ in a cozy speakeasy setting. If you like Hill Country and Morgans you'll love Holy Ground. They're elevating the BBQ scene in NYC with something truly original.

Just a terrific place from start to finish. Food and ambience were terrific; service was absolutely outstanding. I highly recommend this place. We practically tried every item on the menu, it was incredible. All around a lot of bang for the buck, a live band too. We definitely cannot wait to go back. Thanks!

Cocktails and menu were great, but if you are looking for a steakhouse go elsewhere. Sides are better than the brisket or ribs.

BARBECUE. But not the Brooklyn pay by the pound kind of BBQ place. At holy ground you’re getting some of the best brisket and pork shoulder I’ve had outside of Kansas City...with a craft cocktail or great bottle of wine. The ambience makes you feel like you’re part of a secrete members only club for New York’s elite. Oh and the barbecue sauce is so good they brought me a gravy boat of it. This place is so good I almost don’t want to rate it, so it’s easier to get into.

Holy Ground was a decent Steakhouse. I ordered the beef rib which came out buttery and the seasoning was on point. I also had the measles cabbage which had an interesting texture and great flavor profile. I didn't think that cabbage could be done this way with miso. The cabbage was first grilled and came out a bit charred. The restaurant is down in a basement setting so lighting is a bit dim. The space is also a bit small. The bartender was very friendly. Bartender takes my order.
