Place is great for a drink in the evenings specially in the weekends if you have the time to wait. Churrascos is a must. They all good served with steamed vegetables and a preferred side like Moros(rice and black beans mixed) potato pure, green plantains or malanga pure. All imported beers but I would highly recommend a iced cold Modelo special. If you just wanna a bite with your friends Friend Calamari is a great option with marinara sauce or the Pastelitos.
This place is great for family gatherings, friends get together or a casual event. Lots of birthday celebrations so dont be surprised to hear the dancing birthday song going on every now and then plus the sparkling candle cakes. There is even a DJ and live music. Place is huge but pretty pack almost always. Staff is helpful, attentive and bilingual so you'll fill like home in the Caribbean right here in Washington Heights. Handicap bathroom is available as well as wheelchair access to the Restaurant. Cheers

Recently went with my mom and they made some improvements to the waiters and services, but they still need to get organized.

I usually try places a few time before giving them a review but this place was so bad. I arrived at around 7:30 with my mom and a friend. It was not until 8:15 after 3 other tables of the same size that arrived after us were attended by a waitress, which initially told us that she was leaving but someone would be there shortly. When someone finally took our order at 8:15 she returned at 8:45 with only one of our orders a plate of Sancho (Dominican soup) that was water down and freezing cold. We tired to pay for our drinks to leave however no one was paying attention to us. This place use to have great quality and speedy service I hope the service improves.
