Beard Papa’s Desserts

I am a puff lover and these are hands down the best! I even ate one the following day and it was still delicious. Great atmosphere, quick service and super friendly dudes. I will be ordering a dozen for myself today.

Came to New York for business and was referred here by the locals. Came in and my first thought was REALLY nice atmosphere. Was greeted immediately and order was taken very quickly. Once the food came I already knew I would like it because of the amazing smell, but I was wrong I LOVED IT. I am glad I had such a wonderful experience while I was out of town. Thanks Guys!!! If I could give more stars I would.

LOVE their cream puffs with vanilla custard. They also offer green tea, and a special filling of the month which is strawberry for January. I had a chocolate topping with vanilla filling and creme brulee. Cream puffs are fresh and filled to order. Would definitely visit next time when I am stop by the area.

Fresh crunchy shell with a generous fluffy cream inside. They make great treats to bring over to gatherings or a simple TREAT YO SELF.

I visited during their soft opening and a few times after. Each visit the pastries were fresh and the staff were very friendly/welcoming despite how busy it gets. It’s a very small store and velocity can become overwhelming, so I advise to order in advance unless you don’t mind waiting a bit. There was no tables or seats when I visited but I have heard limited seating has been added. Be warned, it CAN get a little messy since they don’t cheap out on the filling.

I’m so glad this Beard Papa’s location opened so close to my work! Now a short walk for the midtown folks craving the delicious and fresh cream puff that originated from Osaka, Japan!

My favorite is the strawberry filled with green tea cream, it has the perfect balance of sweetness. Everything is made in house so the puffs are always fresh and such a delight in each bite.

I’ve had the puffs from Osaka and this Beard Papa location’s fresh, aromatic, and delicious cream puffs take me back to Japan.

In the pictures are: chocolate covered with marshmallow, green tea covered and strawberry covered puffs, with both original and green tea cream filling.

This location has great natural light, is clean and the staff is super friendly, I’m definitely a regular customer!
