Fantastic experience at Ada's Place upstairs. Special thanks to José and Garrett. A++++ for the staff's knowledge, creativity, and warm hospitality.
My new favorite spot to get writing done. I live the gold yet minimalist decor. The coffee is yummy. The cafe is peaceful as there is music playing in the background but it is not overpowering. It is spacious with tons of seating space. I highly recommend paying them a visit.
Wine selection is like no other, definitely have some quality wines from Italy and France. I was not blown away with the food, I think it was quite average despite the allure that you are in a 5 star restaurant. I did however love the duck and would highly recommend. Aside from that, pasta dishes were underwhelming.
Nice space and good food. I liked how quiet this restaurant was and service was great. Nevertheless, I would definitely prefer Charlie Bird and Pasquale Jones over this restaurant.
I had the pleasure of visiting Legacy Records twice during my last trip to New York City and it was everything that was promised. We arrived at 5pm for 5:30 reservations, and even though they don't open until 5:30, they still opened their bar to us early. The drinks were not only delicious, but consistent over multiple bartenders. As someone who can't eat seafood, I was limited but still able to enjoy the best duck I've ever eaten, and some amazing cavatappi pasta. I also appreciated the no tipping policy, as the extra service felt genuine and not like pandering for extra cash.
