Cafe Du Soleil

GREAT authentic French Bistro on the Upper West Side. Small but with excellent food and super staff. Very reasonably priced for NYC. wonderful for lunch/ brunch and great open air and outdoor dining in good weather. Alan the matre'd is fantastic. We go there everytime we visit New York.

We didn't have a reservation at brunch time on a Sunday and they accommodated us quickly. The service was solid if muted (how I prefer it) and the food was great, though a little pricey. That said, I ordered off menu and they charged me just for sides which was nice. Overall nice place. I recommend it.

A wonderful spot, especially for brunch. The staff is friendly and helpful, while the decor and ambiance is warm and cozy. The menu is perfect - just enough options to cater any mood, but not overwhelming either. It's not an absolute must-visit restaurant, but I am so glad it's there.

Soleil is one of the best bars in the city whether you're a local or visiting. There's a coziness of the place most bar/restaurants can't achieve. Strongly suggest stopping by for at least a drink, if not for the food.

Great neighborhood restaurant with french cuisine. A few excellent dishes like the beef bourguignon. Also excellent brunch. Take out menu has discounted prices.
