The White Horse Tavern - Financial District

This is a traditional American pub in a big city with a hometown feel! The service was fast, food was great, and the drinks were affordable! They have 2 bars which helps accommodate a large crowd. The clinetel were friendly and talkative, very easy to strike up a conversation. The bartenders were nice too. Will definitely be going back!

I like this place a lot, the food is good and the drink prices are reasonable. Minus one star because the server brought me a check only listing the amount due and did not itemize the prices for each menu item we purchased. Since i had no way to know whether the check already included the gratuity (we were a group) i put 0.00 for gratuity. She then questioned why i did not leave a tip. It would have been better form if she brought a check listing everything purchased, tax, etc.

She eventually brought me the full check after i asked for it, and i left a tip. The service was good but transparency up front would have been great.

Pretty awesome place where the drinks are relatively inexpensive considering the area and the food is decent. The bar has a real awesome look to it. If your in the area, I highly recommend you check it out.

The food and price are fair. The environment looks nice too. My husband and I went around 8pm to get food which came in a reasonable time. This location is to have a casual time with love ones and friends. I ordered the chicken sandwich which comes with picked coleslaw. My husband order a Ruben sandwich which he was impressed on how well they cooked it.

What a glorious dump. Service was excellent and the food was great. Affordable prices too. I had a late lunch here with my 8-year old son. I felt out of place but we were hungry. Staff made us feel welcome and gave us directions to our next destination.
