The Ribbon

We went after my niece's Christening. Casual or Formal, great place! Friendly and informed staff. We mostly shared apps, then burgers (which were ridiculously delicious) and wine! Great meal, we even had a "wine guy" help us pick the wine, and in the other room were TV's, sports fans and lots of beer! A winner all around!

We are regulars over there and it never disappoints. Impeccable service, generous portions and really great drinks. The market salad is a delightful hodgepodge of chopped lettuce with cold slices of all the meats on the menu. The burgers come with house made pickles and crisp fries. The deviled eggs, normally a stale relic of 1950s suburban bridge parties, rise like a Phoenix from the ashes at the Ribbon. The cocktail menu was carefully thought out and each new one we've tried has proved to be a delightful surprise. Check it out and you'll want to bring friends next time.

Steak salad was absolutely delicious! Service was very good and affordable beers. However I'm giving 4 stars because the salmon dish wasn't very flavorful however it was cooked perfectly.

Some of the most excellent food my wife and I have had in the city, and there’s plenty more variety on the menu we still want to try. The drink menu offered plenty of selection and the dessert menu was right on the money for my taste. Had the fried chicken sandwich, a beer, and the chocolate chip bread pudding, and it was an absolutely splendid meal. The environment in the place and general vibe also does an impressive job of balancing comfort with class.

Burgers were delicious! Old fashioned’s we ordered were excellent as well. Atmosphere was everything I wanted. However wait staff seemed and bit unorganized and understaffed. Would visit again and recommended because food and drinks were very good and enjoyed the atmosphere. Just hope service would be better next time.
