The best Halal Gyro in NYC! I walked 25 minutes to get food from here and almost missed my bus to Philly. I just had to have it. The combo fish and kofta with spicy rice is truly a delight. He is kind also to add pickled peppers and other little things into the mix, enhancing the flavors in the plate. I also got one falafel in my plate! Maybe it fell in there. I highly recommend.

I've eaten at several Halal Carts all over the city. King Cab takes Halal Carts to a whole new level. Each platter comes with a few extra crispy french fries, pickle chips, jalapenos, one falafel ball, tomatoes. Add a little white sauce and hot sauce its the best platter in all of NYC.

I’ve been eating halal food for a couple years now and his food has that something special that just takes it to the next level. The food’s spices are very present and makes it taste very different in a good way. Don’t expect much friendly service but that’s how it is in New York and I kind of appreciate the authenticity. I will go out of my way to make sure I get a plate if i’m in the area and would want to have a full stomach on a budget.
