This is the ideal brunch spot for someone in FiDi! It's not a typical restaurant in the sense you don't get waited on (save that extra tip money) and their menu is just as fabulous. If you are visiting and want a good breakfast but trying to save money for other activities - this is the spot.

Excellent food, friendly staff, for some reason it takes a long time to receive your order. Both times I was there I had to wait a long time for eggs. I'll continue to patronize this place because it's really cute and tasty.

Went there this morning for a to-go order. Everything is made to order (very nice). The ham, egg, and cheddar biscuit was good (hubby liked it). The vegetarian eggs were tasty, veggies not over cooked, and the perfect amount of seasoning. The toast with the eggs was stale :-/. There is no flavoring for coffee m. A pump of vanilla would have been nice and I’d have even paid extra for it. It’s very easy (and cheap) to make vanilla syrup. Or, offer a shot of real maple syrup for the coffee since you have that on hand? The person taking the order was friendly enough but chucked when I asked what the soup of the day was at 8:30am. I like soup all day. I guess I’m weird lol. I’ll try it again since it’s 5 minutes away...
