Sophisticated pub fare, the tuna tartare appetizer in particular, but also top notch traditional like the burger and fries. The soup was also nice on a cold night. Seating in the back is a quiet respite from the lively bar area in front, of you can go to the upstairs bar.
Decent selection of whiskeys and good service.
Old fashioned came with many small ice cubes, so would probably just get whiskies neat here.
Cocktails are light. Blood and sand was a fruity drink.
Doug is always welcoming. I forgot what it was like to go out and feel like you were with family. Such a warm, welcoming atmosphere with a NYC vibe.
Nice little spot for a drink and a light meal. Would love to come back for dinner! Great staff, very attentive!
