For transparency - we did order to go in the last hour they were open but we did pick up our food 15 minutes before close. I was really excited to try 886 but feel like we got the left over scraps of the day. The fried rice was dried out and lacking flavor. I would suggest they limit to go orders to end at an earlier time rather than serve food that doesn’t meet the high expectations of the restaurant and Chef. I would give this place another shot during earlier hours.

Stopped here around 6pm and all seats inside were full, we sat on the outside terrace on the plastic stools, the vibe was a bit like Taiwanese street food.

We ordered the pickled cucumbers, which were super crunchy and delicious, the popcorn chicken, equally crunchy and delicious !

As the entree, we split the pork belly stir fry and also the cabbage with bacon, and of course with a side of rice. All of the dishes were so delicious and flavorful.

Absolutely loved this spontaneous stop at 886. Would recommend to someone who wants a taste of Taiwanese street food.

886 doesn't take reservations for small parties and is often pretty busy, so I suggest arriving a bit early if you want to get a spot! We came on a weekday around 6 and they were able to seat us right away, but most of the parties after us had to wait. The food was pretty good, with lots of flavor and texture profiles to choose from.

It's definitely worth to try! It has delightful taste especially the food is not oily nor salty but keep original ingredient flavors. Love it!!!!

Awesome little spot near St. Marks. I highly recommend going in with a group and ordering a bunch of plates to share. This spot encourages sharing in both food and drink.

Eat up and drink up! The beef noodle soup or Dry beef noodle is incredible. The orange chicken tenders are BOMB too! Lots of vegetarian and vegan options to accommodate!
