    I've eaten at Philip Marie a couple of times and have never been disappointed. The menu is great - something for everyone. Nice sized portions and well presented dishes. Service can sometimes be a little slow but the place does get a crowd. Reasonably priced and the staff is super friendly. I'd totally recommend Philip Marie for casual night or a date night out.

    Very cute brunch spot! Crab cake scrambled egg was great. I went back to get the scarf I left and I realized I was feeling dehydrated, and the bartender gave me a glass of water. Truth is I felt like I was about to faint! I sat in there and took some deep breaths. Small gestures of kindness go a long way!

    Delicious New American food. In the competitive world of NYC restaurants, it really means something when a restaurant can survive. I proposed to my wife at Philip Marie over 10 years ago in the private dining room in the basement, and the restaurant is doing well to this day. Philip Marie is doing well and thriving because it's a wonderful place to wine and dine. I believe it has a dedicated local clientele. The service is very nice too. Prices are very reasonable for Manhattan standards. I highly recommend Philip Marie for casual dining.
