Taste of old New York when class and style was in fashion.

It is an expensive and posh place, but you might bump to Woody Allen.

Service from the Doorman to waiters at Cafe Carlyle were the best.

Fantastic! The food, service, and entertainment excellent. The only complaint I have is if there is a dress code requiring gentlemen to wear a jacket, it should be enforced. I saw three men having dinner wearing just a T-shirt. One was even wearing shorts. Not a good image.

I live near the hotel and am a regular for a reason. It's fabulous. The decor, food and service are excellent. The entertainment is always amazing. I see some negative reviews but they all seem to refer to the pricing in relation to what they received. It's expensive and quality is always expensive. I've travelled the world and this place, where Café society flourishes is definitely worth every penny.
