Experience was good here. Great experience when coming to new york. Hope to come back. Wish they had chicken and waffles not chicken and pancakes but was very good and very filling. The service was great and the mimosas were non stop.
I haven't been here in a while but I must say the staff and the food are still AMAZING! Although we had to wait to be seated, it wasn't a problem at all. The hostess and the manager were absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. My college friends and I had a great time celebrating. I highly recommend this spot for the ambiance, food and overall, the service!!!!!!
Back again and the experience is awesome. Started with a Dark and Stormy to quench the early thirst, followed by the Calamari and then the Short Ribs of Beef with mashed potatoes and Spinach. The beef so tender and well seasoned as is the rest of the food. Fork is the only utensil needed. Apple martinis to relax after a great meal!
My college alumni chapter made a reservation for a holiday brunch yesterday. When we arrived and went to the bar to wait for our party we ordered drinks and the person behind the bar (who wasn't the bartender) said they didn't have certain spirits (FLAG #1). We sat down and ordered our food and unlimited mimosas and bellinis. The drinks came back but the champagne was sour or over fermented. The server (who did a great job) sent them back and bought us new drinks and they were the same. It tasted like the champagne had been there way too long and was sour.
When some of the fellas went to order drinks the spirits they wanted the actual bartender told them they were out of them.... on a Saturday afternoon... the busiest days of the week. Another employee told us since they didn't have anything we could go out and buy the liquor that they didn't have and they would turn a blind eye to us bringing it in... which is what we did!
Overall the food and service were good hence the 3 stars but I really need Leon and his team to step their game up, not a good look. From what I understand from some of my associates who know him say this is pretty commonplace which is a shame. When you know better you're supposed to do better.
