I eat in this spot a lot since I work in the area. I got to say the service is always great and they keep the place neat regularly. Prices are reasonable and they serve big portions.
went there while on vacation with my family. tried out their lunch special :D
it was a great deal. it's my first time ever trying out caviar. lunch special with caviar needed extra surcharge, but it was worth it. service was reasonable, but the food was really great :D
Went with a friend and had a delicious tasting menu lunch experience. Service was excellent from the moment we were greeted at the door, until the moment we left. The dining room is simple with large windows overlooking fifth avenue, we had some lovely wine by the glass with lunch. The waiter overheard me mention my friend’s birthday was today, and organized a candle and little happy birthday chocolate plaque on her dessert without my asking. Highlights were the lobster terrine salad, the kabocha squash gnocchi, short rib ravioli with truffle and the cheese plate. Can’t wait to go back!
This was an excellent meal. Lovely service, beautiful plating, and fun drinks. However, it was a little old fashion and up-tight, very hotel-restaurant if you know what I mean. For the price tag, I think there are better experiences in the city. But I certainly enjoyed!
Very nice meal in a nice setting. Service was good too. Had the octopus as an appetizer, the black ink pasta, then the scallops as a main and the chocolate dessert. Enjoyed everything, but liked my friend’s choices much more (lobster terrine, spaghetti, lobster main and then the coconut/almond dessert). Recommend hers instead :) if you’re stopping by the bar/have to wait for your table there, make sure to try the royal blush cocktail.
