The food was very good! The service was nice but a bit slow.. not many vegetarian options but the existing ones are nice.
Simply very very good. Sometimes us NYC foodies get a little snooty. So let me assure you. Nice atmosphere. Not posh. Service is very efficient. Not faint or phones. You order you get. But to the important part. Seriously good pasta. I mean. Very very good fresh pasta sauces nicely. Tasty. Yum. Green beans were perfect and plentiful. The bill is very fair. Hey NYC. - wake up and smoke some excellent Italian fare at bargain prices. And just sit back and relax. Also espresso machine looked genuine although I did not indulge. . Hit it up. 4.6 for sure. Maybe value wise even better.
Long-time omnivore-turned vegetarian happy to recommend Biricchino to everyone. They've got great meats, including sausage and short ribs (depending on the day), as well as fish and fowl and vegetables and pastas. Good wine list, great bar, and fantastic desserts. Portions are generous, prices are very reasonable, and the staff are all welcoming, attentive and responsive. We've been coming for over a decade, and highly recommend.
Menu was a little weird (each item kinda had something that seemed like it didn’t belong) but the food was very tasty. Chicken piccata and string beans were really good
Lovely, quiet, intimate neighborhood restaurant. Pleasant, efficient service. Smallish portions. While the food is nothing to write home about, culinary prep is competent enough. Avoid appetizers such as the sausages. Share one of the salads instead.
