I’ve been here 3 times, love love love The Snapper! (FYI it’s a whole fish.) The cauliflower is so good as well. Drinks are quite potent and I’m happy to say that we encountered great waitstaff ❤️
Went here with a group of 18 and sat on the outside patio. It was a little warm outside but much quieter than inside.and the fresh air was nice. The meal was done as family style which allowed us to taste so many different dishes with each one better than the last. I got so caught up in trying the next round of food, I sometimes forgot to snap photos before everyone dug in. The portion sizes were great and the staff and waiter were very attentive and friendly. We loved every single dish that came out but the lobster mac and cheese and filet were definitely crowd favorites. Highly recommend going here for a classy and delicious meal when in the area, we will definitely go back again when visiting NYC.
What a wonderful dining experience we had tonight at Catch! BIG THANK YOU to MS. AMANDA CRUZ for accommodating our big group last minute and attending to us for the rest of the evening. Our experience wouldn’t have been what it was if it wasn’t for Amanda. Super attentive, her level of customer service is superb, 11/10. The space is amazing, the staff is super friendly and the food was delicious.
Have been to Catch, well I can't tell you how many times - 5-7+? This place has its pros and cons. Clientele - yes, this is very much a scene restaurant where everyone is someone and there's beautiful people everywhere. Food -very good but overpriced (you are paying for the scene). Also -- they do not make changes / are not accommodative to guest requests. Atmosphere - very good. Service - hit or miss. Was there before and have had great service, and other times horrendous (one experience being last night). Also, I have a PA ID which says "NOT A REAL ID" because it is not a "REAL ID" in terms of the new REAL ID vs standard ID. They wouldn't serve me and actually anyone else at my table which is ridiculous as you can fly on an airplane with a valid ID (doesn't have to be a "REAL" ID until 2022). I say 3/5. I think your money is better spent at other spots in NYC.
Came here for restaurant week. The food did not disappoint. The hostess was extremely friendly and the entire vibe of the restaurant was young and upbeat. Trendy and tropical decor. The tables were slightly too close for my liking, but the food made up for that.
We ordered the salmon salad and a crab sushi roll for appetizers. For the main, we had a sandwich and grilled salmon. The most striking part of this meal was the sauce that accompanied the grilled salmon. It blew my mind completely, and I thereby followed by adding it to all the greens on the table.
The rolls were great, crunchy and raw at the same time. Both salmon dishes were amazing, complementing each other. Overall, a pleasant experience that I would recommend to check out!
