This place feels like home!
I enjoy Latin American (Colombian) food, but have a hard time finding a place that is in Manhattan and balances delicious food with an elegant/welcoming setting- Dulce Vida nails it!

I liked this place, is a small place but is very cute and the food was good. I didn’t really like the sangria but the food was good. I would go back to this place and recommend it to others.
One of my favorites in the neighborhood. Almost all the menu is naturally gluten- free. A few solid vegan options. They do really accommodate, as well. Staff is always welcoming and friendly. Atmosphere feels cozy. Space is very pretty. Good drinks. I think the guacamole and plantains are my favorite.

The food and drinks are great BUT when we got the bill, my impression on this place completely changed. First, they added 18% gratitude to the bill automatically. There’s only a small line of words on the check articulating this and if you don’t look close enough, you are probably gonna miss it and add another portion of tip. This is the first time I’ve seen a restaurant doing this in nyc. I honestly think there’s nothing special about the service that deserved 18% of gratitude. What’s more shady is that the bill came back with more money charged on our cards! So I checked the items on the receipt and found one thing that we never ordered and that item was not there when we first received the bill and before we handed our cards! To me, this is a really disgusting move. The waitress did apologize for this mistake and refund the money but I really felt that she was not actually sorry for it. So be careful with the bill when you eat here. The photo below is just to prove that I’ve actually dined there and this review is 100% honest.
