Delicious, made from scratch, definitely should be better recognized- maybe a better sign outside would help :)
Very authentic and tasty! I had an udon noodle soup, my wife had fried egg noodles, and we shared some dumplings and egg rolls. All were the tastiest we’ve had on the upper east side and very reasonably priced!
We tried three of the lunch specials and they were delicious! I have a theory that the hot sauce tells the quality of an Asian restaurant and this was the real deal. The food was fresh and came quickly, and the atmosphere is lovely. We had the fish and veggies (it was fried and just right—very thin batter, super crispy, nice variety of veggies). The “beef” (it was quality steak) and asparagus was so good — the steak was tender and asparagus cooked just the way I like it—not raw, not overdone. We also tried General Tso’s chicken we tried just for comparison to other places. It was good! Chicken was nice and crispy, Not too much sauce, and broccoli was also perfect. We sat on the back patio and it was a nice respite from the city. I highly recommend!
Loved our meal at ERE! The soup dumplings are probably my favorite on the UES, and the scallion pancake with duck is crispy and delicious. The service is friendly and attentive.
Be sure to eat on their private patio -- it's so cozy and charming!
This is by far MY FAVORITE Asian restaurant in NYC. The service is so friendly, our server remembered us after just seeing us one time. This hidden gem is a MUST. All of the food is delicious and I 100% recommend them.
