Eat Here Now

This place was recommended to me by a friend and he didn't steer me wrong. I had breakfast here-French Toast. It was great. I do recommend you try it out. Great service too.

The service at this diner is first class. They just have some wonderful people working here from top to bottom. I had not been here in about 10 years and the waitress that used to serve us actually remembered us. It's that kind of place. It is in the middle of a bustling city but when you step in, it feels like you are not in the city anymore. It does get packed at peak hours and the place is a bit small but to me it still feels like a break from big city life. We had stopped coming here because burger platters were slowly creeping up in price and we just needed cheaper alternatives but I think we will come back once in a while...just not as regular as we once did. I'm a burger guy and they make good ones here. But I've had other items in the past that I have been pleased with. It is still slightly pricey for diner standards but it's in the middle of NYC...so I guess they have to charge a little more.

Easy 5*. Don't bother looking for another diner for breakfast. Customer service done beautifully. Couldn't be more attentive. Welcomed - coffee immediately - food on the table in 10 minutes - cooked perfectly. Clean - comfortable - no nonsense great diner.

We first visited last year when we were in the city. Eat Here Now was the place we had our first American classic breakfast. Since then we made a point of revisiting whenever we're back to NY.

The breakfast is amazing. The food is delicious - the pancakes, French toast, the pies - everything!

And don't get me started about the staff! The waiters are SO nice. They remembered us from a year ago! The service is fast and the prices are very nice as well.

All in all, highly recommended.

We stopped there for breakfast. Really nice, simple American diner. Food quite tasty, the staff was extremely nice. I think prices, for New York, were reasonable.
