Famous Famiglia

So far best one I found on area. Still discovering. I liked very thin crust and not too much cheese not very fatty. And so cheap. $3 for cheese one slice

If you're on the move this place is a decent spot for a quick bite

Miles ahead of other famous familia locations in the city. Sauce, crust, cheese balance was spot-on, toppings were generous, and the crust had just about the perfect level of char. I would absolutely trust this place to be a newcomer's first introduction to what New York pizzas are all about. Nothing too high-brow, super friendly staff, and great food!

We came here on the recommendation of an employee of the MET. We were looking for good pizza, gluten free crust and indoor seating. The indoor seating was necessary because we were freezing and we’re from Florida. We loved it! My friend said that the gluten free crust was one of the best she’s had. We also got the Famiglia Special which was really delicious too.

Pros: portions for salad are good. Can split with another person! Lots of items to choose from, not just pizza. Seating available with TVs for news. Staff were nice. Gelato was great as well- about 5 flavours. Small portions for gelato though but pricey (close to $5) very tiny cup- just see the cup before buying to make sure.

Cons: pizza was super oily. Too thin from the top half (thinner than the cheese), made it hard to eat. Also didn’t have a veggie option... only cheese. Should add slices where they have veggies on them.
