Genji Izakaya

I love whole foods all of them. I always treat myself to a ramen when I come here yes it's busy yes it's a bar yes people use it as a check out to pay for items. Be patient and enjoy a ramen it's fun.

Amazing space with excellent happy hour 4-7pm and the soups are delicious. I absolutely love the vegetable Izakaya soup with lots of vegetables and seaweed and just the right amount of noodles and spices (you can add spiciness)..
This is inside the Columbus circle wholefoods and you can purchase food in the store and eat there as long as you order something from Izakaya.
It's a special place also for sports fans. They have 2 TVs!

While they were VERY busy, the service met the standard. Last time I was here it wasn't crowded at all and the service was excellent, from Eley!😌

The food and beers on tap are great. The behind the bar service ... Depends on who serves you. The young man was great. He brought a taster of a stout over to e once tbe stout was ready. The woman not so much. She walked away from the register while I was paying, causing the register to time out. Also she squeezed a customer in before me at the register.
