Sunday evening dinner there was marred by the number of kids that were inside. Probably half the place was under 12. I kept expecting to see crayons and a talking rat. Pasta was good. Calamari was terrific. Service was rushed ("Do you folks need to see a dessert menu?" midway through mains). Perhaps the Bad News Bears had our table at 8.
Although a little on the high side, for a special meal this is a treat. Fish was outstanding and cooked perfectly; decor is charming and restaurant is small enough to allow the service to really be there for you when you are looking for them.
Perfect neighbor eatery. Consistent and predictable.
First night I went there was with a friend who had the groupon coupon. She ordered the cowboy steak and did not realize it was saturated with a sauce and was not to happy with it. I ordered the filet of sole...it was passable. I again was invited by another friend who had a groupon. This time I ordered the cowboy steak without the sauce (med.rare). The steak was so bad. It was dry and I could not eat it.The waiter said if I had ordered it with the sauce it would not be dry, but the meat was BAD. The third time a friend went there with her boyfriend who ordered this steak. After one bite he sent it back and lost his appetite and would not order anything else. The mussels were good. That's it!
For an informal pasta repast, you can't miss. An easy place to go for a relaxed meal
