Excellent ethnic food despite a limited menu offerings. The best Cheung fun!!
Love the tofu!! Its so so good! Exactly the taste I had back home, and I’ve never had tofu like this in the US. The tofu is firm and the juice is delicious. The rice roll is filled with scallion, dried shrimp, and sesame. Its very savory. The sesame oil makes it smell really good. The roll is on the firmer side compared to the guangzhou style cheong fung. Its very unique and definitely worths a try if you never had it before.
The owner is super nice, friendly to chat with and even gave me the roll for free haha. Would def come back again to try the dumplings as well!
Got to meet Warren(owner) & chat a little while waiting for our lyft. Nice friendly guy and we wish him the best!
We ordered ahead to make sure we got the suigow(dumplings). We also tried the fungruen(rice roll) and tofu.
Our favorite was the dumplings, then rice noodle roll and then the tofu...will definitely order more of the first two next time!
These Cheung fung rolls are absolutely deliciously. So cheap too, two rolls will fill you up. Lots of fillings and a hidden gem in Chinatown. You can even ask them to cut it up so you can share bite size pieces!
You would never guess this well rolled up nice sized noodle bundle is actually soft enough with the prefect bit firmness. It is not very salty, which I prefer but to others, ask to see if the nice gentleman will give you more sauce. It is your classic oily grease spoon comfort food, so please be considerate this is not a dieter's snack. For me one was plenty as a meal but I think if I was hungry I need to add an order of tofu, which I will try next time. FYI it is not located on E. Broadway it shares 88 E. Broadway's building but it is a small storefront located on the side on Forsyth Street. Give it a try, old school Chinese food, my uncles and aunts eats these for breakfast, lunch, snack...The service was friendly and quick.
