Superb service met with the most delicious food. Staff was extremely kind and patient with our group. Can't beat the Soup dumplings, crispy beef, and duck. Already planning the next visit.

Boss came out and told us about the history of his restaurant and then thanked us for coming and gave us a ma po tofu on the house! Food tastes great

After trying several places in China Town and not quite finding what we were looking for, we came here and found it all!
The cold noodles with sesame oil is as good as everyone say it is. The tangy crispy beef is technically an appetizer but it's more like an amazing candy. The Pekin duck was as good as the ones we had in China, and even though a half is big enough for two we had to try another dish so we also enjoyed the spicy and special lamb rack.
The service was great and the staff did their best to try and provide an upscale feeling despite the outside dining limitations.
We will definitely come again.

We had a lovely time dining outdoors at Hwa Yuan -it felt like we were hosted by a family for dinner. Staff was so generous, professional and nice, and the food was excellent. We got the famous cold sesame noodles and the Pekin Duck pictured here. The street was quite on a Saturday night and it was really cool to be able to experience dining outside. Walking in to use the restroom it was heartbreaking to see such a beautiful restaurant standing empty and closed for indoor service.

This is just high quality food and I'm guessing only available for delivery due to the sad state of pandemic. Get it while you can. Awesome soup dumplings that held together without having a grossly thick wrapper. Great wine chicken. The best sesame noodles. Thank you for continuing to serve delicious food!
