Average food taste. We tried plenty of dishes and would prefer to stick to appetizers than entrees. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice vibes and music at the restaurant. My 2 cents, i request the chef to work on adding less color to the gravy, its not appealing to eat such dark color food and that to Indian food.

The food may be Indian, but the portion sizes are surely American. The team at Imli will load up your plate with delicious food. Our server made some great recommendations - Samosas for apps and Tandoori Chicken for my entree because I wanted to try something new.

If the other entrees are the same size, you could probably split most of them and it’d be enough food. But instead, you should order a couple delicious apps, and then order your own entrees knowing you’ll probably get a takeaway meal out of them too.

They also use a QR code menu, the base of which is a device you can use to call for water, the server, or the bill. To be fair it wasn’t very busy when we were there, but using that was super easy and the servers were extremely punctual and attentive.

Hands down the best Indian restaurant so far in NYC! Food was of fine quality (mainly the meat) with expected amount of spice flavor!

I love this place. Food and service was great. The mango chutney is a must try and the naan is a meal in and of itself.
