-No flop, minimum amount of grease. No napkins were wasted on the pizza.
- Cheese to Sauce: pretty even in terms of coverage. Regular slice was stringy due to high turnover but the Sicilian was not. I think you are getting your money's worth.
-Taste: a hint of tangy, hint of sweetness from the cheese and tomatoes. With the nice charcoal on the bottom with the regular crust, I will gladly take people here who want NYC - style pizza. As for the Sicilian, too much bread, not enough cheese and sauce. Cannot skimp out on the good stuff when you are charging $4 a slice.
$7.00 total ( $3 for the regular, $4 for the Sicilian ) out the door. Rating: 7.8 ( recommend the regular ).
First time here from out of town. I ordered the supreme and sicilian pizza. The pizza would have been much tastier if it warmed longer than 20 seconds. They are crowded and fast dishing out pizza and service.
The pizza here is amazingly delicious! I love my pizza thin with just the right amount of cheese. Staff was quick and friendly. A busy pizza shop. People are coming in and out. While eating there I was entertained by all the photos of famous celebrities on the wall who all have visited there. Pretty neat spot. Not too pricey either. Paid $3 for the cheese pizza.
A fantastic spot for grabbing some pizza. We went on a Thursday evening around 6pm. As expected it was very crowded given the location (close to the World Trade Center) and the end of work crew leaving for home. We managed to grab a table (very lucky) but there is standing room both inside and just outside the place. I ordered a slice of white pie and a margarita with spinach. They were great and didn’t feel too heavy either.
This New York City chain is very tasty thin crust pizza. The service is superb and the pizza comes out hot. The pizza by the slice is affordable and with every penny. The slices start at $3.00 per and a variety of toppings can be added for a little more. There are about 15 or so bar seats in the small restaurant and the turnover is quick. If your looking for consistently good NYC thin crust pizza I recommend Joe's Pizza.
