The prices per slice are on average about $1.50-$2 cheaper than most chains.

Standard NYC chain pizza place (15+ slice options) with a pretty decent New York slice and staff that is pretty generous with the toppings.

They also have calzones, rolls, salads, appetizers, wings and desserts. They have a good amount of indoor seating.

The pizza is Good, but not the best pie I’ve tasted. The best, so far, in my humble opinion is Vito’s on 9th Ave, a few blocks from BH.

But the Hawaiian here is really good. The service is excellent and the price is fair. If your on 3rd and 26th and want a decent slice of pie, then La Vera is for you.

A delicious, classic NYC slice for only $3 is always appreciated. Their specialty slices, like the vodka and margarita are also solid, even tho I probably wouldn't get those again. But the service is excellent and the atmosphere is always welcoming late at night when you're just in need of a tasty, hearty meal after too many Moscow Mules.

Nice large slices. Personally, not my favorite shop, but super close to my apartment, and spouse loves all the slice options (always 10 to 20 varieties to choose from). I prefer plain or mushroom slices, and those are near perfect, hence the 5 stars.

Mo was wonderful to work with! We ordered for our team since we played at Baruch College. He worked with our receipt requirements and was very quick to respond with a few questions I had. We ordered pizzas and some wraps. Everything was delicious and perfectly delivered to where it needed to be. La Vera Pizza was amazing!
