Wow, discovering Luthun was such a wonderful surprise!
Chefs Nahid Ahmed, Arjuna Bull, and the whole team made it an evening to remember. I enjoyed the ten-course tasting menu and wine pairing, in a progression that both built nicely but took some exciting and unexpected turns.
Service and presentation were excellent, and both Chefs and the staff will make you feel welcome and at home.
If you're looking for a hidden gem, check out Luthun the first chance you get!
Amazing, I’m not a foodie but this place is so special I had to write a review.
Their tasting meny for 100$ like the most incredible gastronomic journey around the world.
One dish more delicious than the other.
Would not be surprised if Luthun gets a Michelin Star one day.
And the staff is super friendly.
The wine pairing for 80$ is incredible.
One glass for each dish of the most amazing wines for each dish perfectly paired up.
Be careful as it’s a lot of glasses of wine.
I almost don’t want to write this review as I
think it will be impossible to get a table in the future.
What of the great undiscovered treasures of NYC. Set menu, 7 course or 10 course inventive journey for the senses. Would be a bargain at twice the price.
They accommodated two pescatarians. Excellent service, interesting wine pairings, exciting flavor combinations. Can't wait to go back.
Incredible neighborhood gem! Inventive cuisine on par with Atera, but at 40% the cost. Go before it becomes cool! I did the chefs counter menu with wine pairing and was blown away with the 14 courses.
Favorites were the Trout, Hake, and Duck. Incredible molecular gastronomy going into all the sauces. GO!!!
My family had a wonderful time at Luthun last weekend! The 10-course menu was outstanding! I want to single out the bass ceviche, popcorn grits, mushroom and mussel courses in particular although every single course was impeccable and delicious. The wine list is the most unique and diverse our family has ever seen, with wines from Canary Islands, Slovenia, Uruguay, Georgia, etc.
