I love that the food wasn't all the standard Mexican fare prepared the same way as all the other places. The vegetarian enchiladas
were great and different filling options. Not just beans and cheese. Actual vegetables and not having mushrooms as the only choice which is good for me as I dislike mushrooms. Also, impressive vegetarian section for those who care. The refrained beans are not made with lard, making them healthier which is always a good thing
I went for lunch. I want to go back for dinner and try the margaritas.

Good service, super friendly! Food was nice and tasty!. What brings the overall rate down is their practice of automated tip.

it was on a Monday night that we walked by the restaurant. It was a little after 10 and I peeked in to ask if they were opened. She said sure come on in. I asked how late are you open and she reluctantly told me 10:30. I can tell she didn't want me to feel rushed. We ended up leaving after 11. We sat and talked to the owner for quite a while and really enjoyed it. I had a big traditional margarita and it was excellent. We had the steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas and loved them. The shrimp was particularly good. The place is really small and intimate. I really enjoyed it there. If I lived in New York I would go there once a week. I eat a lot of Mexican food and the salsa was the best I've ever had.
