The cauliflower is justifiably famous. We also had a folder burger and smashed potatoes. All terrific. Do yourself a favor and try their food.
Food 4/5
Personally, the portions were perfect, but because my appetite is quite small, one pita probably wouldn't satisfy a larger appetite. I got the lamb skewer pita, which was quite flavorful and tender, and it was also super juicy. The pita was soft as well.
Service 4/5
No service, it's a pick up sort of thing. The cashier was super nice though, great attitude. Our order did take quite a while, which I wasn't expecting from a pickup setup.
Interior 4/5
Funky colors, nice seating. The music was a bit too loud.
My favorite place to go when I am near Hudson yards. I can eat the cauliflower every day ! Everything they serve is full of colors, tasty, healthy and fresh! Old city meze is a my to go with roasted cauliflower. I always end up taking leftovers home. In this one they forgot to put feta cheese, but no complains I loved it anyway.
Menu changes daily, pita bread (oh so soft) baked in house daily, and solid portion size to price ratio for Hudson Yards.
Their meats (steak and rotisserie chicken here) are well cooked and well seasoned. The roasted cauliflower is just soft enough that it comes right off, but still retains a nice bite. Try it out before it gets too crowded!
This spot truly is amazing. The menu options and prices are great, considering the location. Nothing crazy. Simple stuff at decent prices. We got the Rotisserie-broken-chicken in a pita & Lamb kebab in a pita. I preferred the chicken one for the intensity of the flavor, and the fact that the chicken was shredded / broken. The lamb was like a chunk that was really tough to get with each bite - not an even distribution lol.
For dessert, we got the Banana Chocolate Trail, $5. Gotta love it for its price and also it's simplicity. It's just pita bread, banana and chocolate syrup but it all comes together beautifully.
Definitely where we're going to eat from again when visiting the Hudson Yards!
