    Nello is by far my first stop when I'm back home. The staff, food and small atmosphere makes you one with the universe. Best food in NYC, Period!

    The food is decent but the prices leave a sour taste in your mouth. Charging $195 for a special pasta dish is pretty unnecessary. Simply because something has truffle doesn’t mean you can justify a price like that. I get truffle pastas and pizzas and dishes all the time at other restaurants for a *reasonable* amount. I guess whoever runs this place builds the fee of gazing upon the oh-so-spectacular exteriors of the Hermès and Jimmy Choo shops into every dish’s asking price.
