The girl who was the cashier was the only unpleasant part of my visit. But other then that a great place to get bagels and they are fresh
Pick A Bagel offers a variety of delicious bagels, for a reasonable price considering the place. On the other hand, the coffee was flavorless and the scrambled eggs between the bagel were extremely overcooked. I would recommend the everything bagel with cream cheese.
First few times in this place were
Specifically for bagels, after all, it’s pick a bagel. So I ordered two everything with a 1/4 pd of whitefish spread to go. That was just the right amount for two breakfasts for me. Second the price was less then what I paid for one bagel/whitefish sandwich from what I would say was a not very nice lady at Hudson Eats. Whereas, the staff at pick a bagel are all quite nice. The other night I ordered a Tuscan panini and well that would represent the third star because it was delicious and also afforded me lunch the next day. Convenient to my location, hours, and variety of offerings round out my 5 star rating.
I loved these bagels!! New York bagels are always really tasty but the seasoning on this everything bagel was especially flavorful and really elevated the experience. The bagel itself also had a great bite and chew to it. I got a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel and a tuna melt with capers on an everything bagel. The bacon egg and cheese was so filling that I ended up carrying the other half of the bagel around for hours afterward because I was so full. The capers in the tuna melt were huge but all the ingredients felt very fresh and they were delicious. The line does get pretty long, but it moves quickly and the workers have it down to a science, pretty much. I would definitely come back again!
Classy clean open air breakfast and lunch joint that Unites all workers from Wall Street executive to blue collared. It's just normal for everyone to be here. Food is fresh and also feel young with many youths from local schools find their lunch here as well. Sit outside bring your laptop and enjoy the scene and the history with an Irish burial ground right across and in the same building as the Conrad hotel s hotel like no other and of course all shoadowed by by freedom tower and it's gigantic size with it's fascade reaching for the sky. Amazing
