Pink Moose

I have been in this neighborhood for 12 years. And I have known of this restaurant for quite a while but never considered getting coffee here. I have searched the neighborhood for coffee, and nobody gets it. Nobody knows how to make good coffee. Fortunately I walked into this restaurant on my way to view the racing wheelchairs come around the corner from the bridge during the marathon. I ordered a black eye End it was excellent, so I got another one this morning. This is the place for excellent coffee.

Probably the best cafe in the area. If you are a coffee purist you will appreciate the richness of the espresso- and if you're not a purist it's just yummy :) Lot of baked items and entrees to pair with it as well, and very nice atmosphere inside which is rarely too crowded leaving plenty of space to sit and enjoy.

I love this place for coffee, baked goods, especially the breakfast sandwich, the people, the dinner, the pasta! I could go on and on. I love Pink Moose so much that on the morning of my engagement I declined going for a walk with my husband to the park (the original surprise) because I wanted to get breakfast at the Pink Moose together.

Recently, I came in to grab coffee and a muffin to find the owner offering free coffee and a meal to an obviously disturbed patron. He did not treat this individual/customer with any less respect than every other person in sitting for breakfast that it really stuck with me.

I will support this business as often as I can, its really a gem.
