Prestige Cafe and Deli

I get the 5 ingredient salad ($7 + tax) and an occasional bacon, egg, and cheese. Clean inside, normally friendly. Bread work for a quick bite.

They charged me $10 for a pint of talenti gelato which feels like should be a violation of the Geneva convention. Never again!

If you live or work near New York’s Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, the New York State Psychiatric Institute or happen you be coming for a visit or doctor’s appointment, I have wonderful news to share! The Prestige Cafe and Deli located on Fort Washington Avenue , near the corner of169th Street, has exceptionally delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Their staff and owner, BJ, are wonderfully caring and empathetic to their customers and they are open 24 hours a day! I’ve become a loyal customer over the last few months and I’ve been very impressed with their delicious sandwiches and wonderful take out meals. In addition to their phenomenal selection of prepared paninis and other foods, they also have all kinds of grocery items in case you want to stock up on your way home! There aren’t a lot of places to get reasonably priced meals that are also high quality within steps of the Columbia Hospital complex. I’m so grateful that I discovered Prestige Cafe. They are great at catering and are happy to deliver! Their menu is on their website and it’s very impressive!
