Rivoli Pizza II

Stopped into this place after a long day of travel and trying to navigate New York for the first time in my life. We smelled it from the street and HAD to stop in. It was hotter inside on the 90° day than it was outside and I burned the snot out of the roof of my mouth, but it was the best slice of pizza I've ever had. I've been back home for about three weeks now and I think I'll only ever crave this pizza for the rest of my days. If this is bottom of the bucket like some of the other reviews claim, I can't even imagine what a "good" New York pizza is

First time having pizza in New York and we weren't disappointed! We ordered four slices of pizza of different kinds, and they were all good.
The establishment is kind of a hole in the wall, and we liked that. The staff were very friendly.
If we're ever hungry in this area of New York again, I could definitely see us coming back!

Nothing to write home 🏡 about here. The 🍕 pizza could have used a little more 🧂 salt if u ask me. A slice and a medium ⛲ fountain coke will run you $6 here.

Is this the best pizza in NYC? No. Is it still one of my favorites, because of nostalgia about drunkenly stopping in to scarf down a chicken parm slice before heading to the next bar? Yes. Are the people who work here so nice and part of why I go back? Also, yes. Have I never actually had the pizza sober? Again, yes, but I've always enjoyed it. I've brought other people and they like it and weren't as intoxicated as me; so i say if you're in the area, go! Get the chicken parm slice. It's my favorite. They also have chicken and bacon and in college I loved chicken, bacon, ranch slices and they added ranch for me once, which I thought was the sweetest thing ever (because I was drunk). Good times...
