Saiguette

It was a cold winter day many moons ago when I stumbled upon Saiguette. Little did I know, I would never be the same. Life changing, like a sudden revelation, a flash of deja vu or perhaps nostalgia; as if you know, in deep and intrinsic recognition, that this is what you should have been eating your whole life. Now I wake up in a state of disorientation: why should this place be closed during COVID, when the perfect setup for delivery/takeout already existed within? Why has so much meaning been taken away from my life during times as strange as these? I take a deep breath, another step, and remind myself of the fire within me, desperately holding on to the hope of soon having some laska, moon dumplings, and a banh mi before me. That will be a day of celebration, gratitude, and solidarity with all who now wait, as do I, until they open once more.

Great food, generous portions. I take away food again and again. Always delicious. I get the Bun Nem often! Hope they reopen soon
