The Malt House

Went there for brunch and ordered avocado toast, waffles, breakfast potatoes and mimosas. Unfortunately waffles were very dry and rubbery and the bread on the toast was a little tough. Breakfast potatoes were very good though and the place had great ambience, fast service and friendly staff. Someone actually suggested this place to us for lunch, so that might be good but brunch was just okayish.
P.S. - They are charging 3.5% extra for payments by credit cards (which is becoming increasingly common in NYC).

Those three stars go to the staff only...they're great. Other than that, it's zero stars for the establishment. The liquor selection for such a tremendous bar was very limited...which I found strange because I've been to much smaller places that have extensive selections. Maybe it was an off night. Maybe somebody isn't keeping on top of their inventory. Idk...Maybe the Malt House on Thompson St is better?

Absolutely delicious! I got the lentil/lime chicken with kale and rice. The chicken was done just right and savory. Kale was spritzed with some vinegar sauce and was tasteful as well. I'll definitely dine here again. There's ample seating space if you're staying in as well. Staff greets you with a smile... the place is quite trendy with fun décor and it’s smells great in there! Ha. One of my favorite work lunch spots. Definitely recommended.

The burger was DELICIOUS. We have been looking for a cozy and casual spot in fidi for awhile and we finally found it. This place is perfect for grabbing chill drinks and some great food. The service was great as well. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area!

Great place for having a brunch on Sunday. Bottomless drinks were amazing and the food was very good. Killian gave us an amazing service. I came for my birthday and I had a great experience. I will come back here next time I'm at NYC. 10/10 recommend the malt house and Killian as your serve
