Visited for happy hour. The 10$ burger and beer were decent and the fries were good. We ordered the bourbon cider, it came in a lovely thermos and was enough for 3. We also ordered the giant pretzel, its was ok. We would come again.
A very cool place on 1st Avenue Manhattan. Had great appetizers. They also had games, pinball machines and other fun things to do. A great bar with good food with excellent service. If you're looking for someplace quiet , not the place, enjoy.
I was pleasantly surprised, for a German style bar they have a great food selection and it’s cooked perfectly. We had sliders, brisket tacos and eggplant appetizer. Everything tasted amazing. The menu was very extensive they had some amazing sounding options. Will definitely try to come back to try more.
The food was okay. My salad was too sweet. The steak with asparagus and mashed potato was too oily. The fudge brownie was too sweet as well. It was too relaxed for me. I never like to go to places where you seat yourself. The service was very relaxed. Not the place to go if you want to be in.and out quickly.
Nice and big. Good for groups. Hostess was kind of rude, waitor was awesome. Food ranged from below to above average.. I had a great burger that was basically ruined by a bun that tasted very papery and disintegrated before I was half done with the burger. The pretzel is gigantic and awesome (2 person or more), the fish and chips were very tasty as well. Portions are generous. Beer selection was great. I will probably go back at some point.
