What works well: service is very kind; food is fun; decor is lovely.
Suggestions: more modern and quieter music, maybe Southeast Asian music, either traditional or modern; don’t promise booth then take it away for the reason that it helps your restaurant to give it to a party with 2 more people than the ones who’d reserved it for a week; lighten up on the sugar in dishes.
Patience: the UWS wants to love you!

I've been wanting to try this place out for the longest time but was always super busy with work!!! I finally had the chance to stop by WAU with my mom. We loved everything! 10/10 would recommend :) The laksa was so flavorful and the drinks are strong which we loved

The menu is beautifully diverse in terms of south Asian food options. The flavors and spices were all there in authentic form. It was such a great experience.

I had an awesome experience dining at WAU. Right as I entered I loved the vibe of this restaurant, small cozy vibe with a twist of Malaysian aroma in the air. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Food was cooked to perfection. I can't wait to come here again with friends.

Amazing dinner for 7 - all delicious and perfect for sharing. Warm environment, gracious team - they made my birthday extra special. Love Malaysian food - this did not disappoint!
