We visited Wu’s Wonton King with a group of six people and we ended up being extremely satisfied & full with only $20 per person. The service wasn’t too good and kind of rude as expected.

We ordered their signature Wonton Soups, couple of Dim Sum (Shrimp dumplings, Shaomai ...etc) and 2 shared plates: Fried Beef with Scallions & Braised Lamb Stew.

The food was overall decent with reasonable portion. Our favorites were the Wonton Soups and the Braised Lamb Stew. The wonton was one of the best in NYC, which is juicy and tender. The stew was cooked perfectly, the lamb was flavorful and soft.

One of the best things is the restaurant allows “BYOB” and my friends told us there are great liquid stores in the neighborhood. It’s a perfect place for friends gathering.

Absolutely delicious ?!!! Took me back to my childhood ... going to Chinatown 20 years ago on Saturdays for Roast Duck and other authentic chinese food. Happened to be driving through the area and we had to stop for takeout. Ordered the Roast Duck, Pan Fried Noodles and Fried Rice w/ Chicken. Everything was delicious and fresh. We live 40 minutes away, but will definitely make the trip there again for dinner. Highly recommend!! ???

Group dinner for Mid autumn festival eating outside during the pandemic. Really great that you can BYOB and they did a terrific job with the food, we had a giant 10 pound king crab served two ways… Steamed and fried. Had a variety of other dishes, salt and pepper squid, crab fried rice, veggies… Etc. I will be back for dim sum!

This review is based on the one dish I had, the Wonton Soup. $10.99 for a big bowl of soup/broth with lots of different kinds of shrimp dumplings in it. 3 varieties - classic wonton, and 2 others that I didn't expect at all, since wonton is a specific kind of dumpling. They were all delicious. Lots of filling. Big pieces of shrimp in them. Great value. I think i got 3-4 dumplings of each kind. Definitely going back for this.
